Integration of AI in secondary classrooms, through the lens of the TPACK Model.
Tuesday November 5, 2024 12:15pm - 1:15pm EST
The integration of Generative AI in secondary classrooms presents transformative opportunities for lesson design and pedagogy, analyzed through the TPACK Framework (Mishra & Koehler, 2006). This presentation explores the multifaceted impact of Generative AI on teaching practices, emphasizing the synergy between technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge. By leveraging AI, educators can create adaptive and personalized learning experiences that cater to diverse learner needs, fostering empowerment and promoting a student-centered environment. Drawing from my research and expertise in curriculum and instruction with a focus on technology integration, I will demonstrate how AI-enhanced lessons can engage all levels of learners, thereby revolutionizing traditional educational paradigms. This discussion aims to provide practical insights and strategies for educators to effectively integrate AI in their pedagogical practices, ensuring inclusive and dynamic learning experiences.
